The match was 4 sets long and in the beginning it looked very promising for the Mountain Lions. To begin the match the women put on a dominant performance and won the first set 25-11. This was much in part due to Kayla Starzynski who had 11 Kills and 12 Total Points on the day, both of which paced the Mountain Lions for the match. In the second set the Lady Lions came storming back and had an impressive win of their own 25-19. After the second set the momentum swung in the Lady Lions favor perminantly as PSU Scranton went on to win the next two sets with the scores of 25-15; 25-20. 

The Women's Volleyball team's next match is tomorrow, September 23rd as they will travel to PSU Schuylkill in search of their first win of the season.
