Soccer wins over PSU-Scranton 4-2

The soccer team beat PSU-Scranton yesterday 4-2 behind the foot of Richard Wooditch. There was a lot of scoring in this game as 6 goals were totaled between the two teams with Scranton getting on the board first in the 8th minute. This would stay the score for another 30 minutes of play before Wilkes-Barre found the back of the net off of the foot of Kyle Gurzynski. Leveling the score at 1-1, Wilkes Barre then struck again in the 65th minute with a long strike from Wooditch. Scranton then stormed back with a goal of their own to tie the game. This is where Wooditch took the reigns and followed up with two more goals to secure the win 4-2. 

Securing their first win of the season the team now moves to 1-3 and will face Penn-State Mont Alto on Saturday October 6th looking to make it two in a row.
