Baseball Loses Second Game in Myrtle Beach

Your Penn State Wilkes Barre Baseball lost their second game in Myrtle Beach 11-5 against Penn State Mont Alto. The scoring got started early in this one with Wilkes Barre gaining a quick 3-0 lead in the top of the first. Sean-Paul Williamson started off the scoring with a RBI single that allowed David Staskiel to score after he walked and stole second base. Brandon Hardiman kept the scoring going in the first with a 2 RBI single with the bases loaded to increase the lead to 3-0. This was Hardiman's first 2 RBIs of the season and they came in a big spot with the bases loaded and 2 outs. Richard Sott also had a good game adding another 2 hits making him 4 for 6 so far this season. Sott also added his second walk in 2 games. Wilkes Barre lost the lead in the bottom of the first after giving up 5 runs to Mont Alto. Mont Alto scored another 1 in the 3rd and 5 more in the 5th inning. Wilkes Barre started a quick 7th inning rally scoring 2 more runs thanks to an RBI single by Staskiel and a sac fly by Tanner Williams
