Baseball Moves On in PSUAC Playoffs

Penn State Wilkes-Barre's Baseball has advanced in the PSUAC playoffs after defeating Penn State Schuylkill 6-5 yesterday. Their next game will be against Penn State Dubois on Sunday, May 6th at 10 am. All remaining games will be held at Showers Field in DuBois. There are four teams remaining in the PSUAC playoffs. PSU Brandywine and PSU Wilkes-Barre represent the East Division, and PSU DuBois and PSU Beaver represent the West Division. It is a double elimination format, so losers will have a chance to stay alive.

For PSU Wilkes-Barre, they are led on offense by leadoff hitter Zach Sott. He is hitting .472 with 25 hits, 25 runs scored, 9 walks and 20 stolen bases. When he gets on base the team has a great chance to score some runs. Their best pitcher would be Jordan Choman, who has an ERA of 3.31, 23 strikeouts.
