Men Drop An Energetic Fight

Men Drop An Energetic Fight

The DuBois men's basketball team hosted Wilkes Barre for the second conference game in as many nights this evening at the PAW Center.  The first 20 minutes of play was nothing less than entertaining with back-and-forth non-stop action for the crowd.

Jaiquil Johnson dropped a quick 12 points for DuBois to put them in the lead early, but Wilkes Barre would keep chipping away.  DuBois shooters would go a little cold with a few minutes left in the half and Wilkes Barre would take the lead going into the locker room, 41-28.

The energy was the same in the second half, but DuBois struggled to get their shots to fall.  Wilkes Barre would keep the lead throughout the game as they would go on to win, 81-62.

Johnson finished with 14 points, Ashton Fortson ended the night with 10 points, and Christopher Frontera would add 8 points for DuBois.

DuBois will be back in action on Wednesday as they travel to Penn State Fayette for an 8:00 pm tip time.
