Women’s Basketball Fall to USCAA Powerhouse

Dallas, PA. - The Bucks women's basketball were defeated by Penn State Wilkes-Barre on January 10, 2024, by a score of 100-13 at the Mountain Lions home gymnasium.

Bucks first game back from the break was against one of the top teams in the USCAA. The rebuiding Centurions were unable to keep pace with the high scoring Wilkes-Barre. Bucks was lead in scoring by freshman, Martina Fedor (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West), with 7 points and 6 rebounds. Freshmen, Jess Kepner (Pipersville, PA/Central Bucks), Hannah Hermanovich and sophomore, Kalypso Braynen (Kennet City, FL/Dixie Hollins) chipped in on the scoring for the day.

The loss drops the Centurions to a 1-6 overall record and Wilkes-Barre improves to 6-5 overall.

The Centurions are back in action on Friday, January 12th when they host ESAC newcomer, Christendom College with tip-off scheduled for 5:00pm. This will be double header with the men's team.
