PSU Wilkes-Barre Baseball begin season.

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre will begin the 2019 baseball seaon in Myrtle Beach.  The baseball team will play a total of five games, with their first being on Monday, March 4th, at 10:00am against Penn State Beaver.  The Penn State team will look to build upon their success from last year.  In the 2018 season, the Penn State Baseball team had an overall record 12-7-1 and a 10-4-1 record in conference play.  Through 19 games, the team had 135 runs, .315 batting average, .403 on base percentage, and 4 home runs.  The team had three all-conference recipients in the 2018 season.  Two of three, Jordan Choman (pitcher) and and Tanner Williams (Utility), are returning to the team for the 2019 season.  Jordan Choman went 2-0 last season with an era of 5.11.  Tanner Williams had a batting average of .306 and had 19 hits throughout the 2018 season.  Penn State Wilkes-Barre will have five home games throughout the season against Southern Maine CC, Penn State Hazleton (Double Header), Penn State Brandywine (Double Header), Penn State York, and Penn State Scranton.
